We’re fighting for the very survival of our profession.
The companies represented by the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP)—which include Amazon/MGM, Apple, Disney/ABC/Fox, NBCUniversal, Netflix, Paramount/CBS, Sony, Warner Bros. Discovery (HBO), and others—have made it clear they are committed to prioritizing shareholders over the basic needs of the creative artists who have made them wealthy.
I stand in unity with the members of SAG-AFTRA and the WGA.
Performers need:
Minimum earnings to keep up with record inflation
Compensation to reflect the value we bring to the streamers who profit from our labor
Protection of our images and performances to prevent replacement of human performances by artificial intelligence technology
The industry has transformed, and we need transformative contracts. Specifically, we need fair compensation that accounts for inflation, revenue sharing on top of residuals, and protection from AI technology.
We will march as long as it takes to get a fair deal. One day longer, one day stronger.
