Journal of the American Revolution

I’m thrilled to announce I’ve been published in the Journal of the American Revolution, a peer-reviewed online magazine for history scholars and enthusiasts alike.

As an artist, my work is rooted in seeking truth and lifting stories off the page. So too, is my work as a researcher. My article, “Searching for Samuel’s Service: Stories of the Revolution Revealed Through One Man” is the study of Loyalist Private, Samuel Babcock, and how my investigation into his war service led me to unexpected stories of the Revolution and beyond.

I will be discussing the article on JAR’s official podcast, “Dispatches,” on Saturday, Oct. 1st.
